MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – We’re only going to see sunshine and blue skies for the next two days.
We start the weekend with mostly cloudy skies in the morning, due to the cold front collapsing off the coast. As the front continues to move out this will help break up the clouds this afternoon. It will be a hot and humid day with highs in the mid 80s across the Pee Dee. There will be no chance of rain today. It will be a great day to be on the water, but be sure to put on sunscreen as the UV index is very high today.
The weather will remain calm tonight with clear skies. Temperatures will remain mild tonight in the upper 60s in the Grand Strand and in the mid 60s inland. However, scattered fog will be possible after midnight through Sunday morning.
A hot and humid start to our Sunday morning. Temperatures will start in the mid upper 60s and we will eventually warm up to the mid 80s in the Grand Strand and into the upper 80s. We will also see sunny skies throughout the Pee Dee. Clear skies will continue Sunday evening with temperatures dropping into the low 70s for Monday morning.
It’s going to be another great day to be out for Memorial Day. We will continue to be dry with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will remain above normal in the mid 80s in the Grand Strand and near 90 degrees inland.
QUIET TIME AHEAD
Not much in the forecast will change this weekend. An anticyclonic system will continue to keep us dry this weekend. The chance of rain will remain at 20% throughout the work week. A cold front will bring our next best chance of rain by Friday. On top of that, its going to be a hot and sunny week ahead. Temperatures are going to stay in the mid 80s in the Grand Strand and low in the 90s inland.
