High pressure will set in today for a break in the chance of rain.

This morning’s sun will mix with a few fair weather clouds by midday and afternoon. A brief spitting of rain cannot be completely ruled out, but the chances of seeing rain are slim.

A light wind will blow with speeds at or below 5 mph. At first, this wind will come from the southwest. Most of the day it will be a westerly wind. At the end of the afternoon, it will continue to shift, becoming more northerly.

Temperatures will be mild but not too hot. Look for afternoon highs to hit the 80s in the northern half of the county with the mid 80s in the south. Dew points will remain comfortably low in the low to mid-50s.

Skies will clear tonight with temperatures receding into the 60s. The wind will shift again and a southerly breeze will pick up, keeping temperatures around 60 degrees overnight.
