A delegation of BJP leaders from Gujarat along with BJP MP Manoj Tiwari visited two mohalla clinics that were not operational and a school in northeast Delhi on Wednesday, the second day of their visit.

Referring to the status of a mohalla clinic at Zero Pushta in Soniya Vihar, Tiwari said, “This mohalla clinic is listed on their website but on the ground only the structure exists.”

The team visited another Mohalla clinic in Chauhan Patti soon after. “There is no doctor inside, no medicine, nothing,” said Jyoti Pandya, former mayor of Vadodara.

Noida Supertech Twin Towers shaving preparation ‘95% complete’

The preparation to bring down the Supertech Twin Towers in Noida has entered its final stages. The demolition of the towers, located in sector 93A, was originally scheduled to take place on May 22. The Supreme Court had, on August 30, ordered the demolition of the Apex and Ceyane towers in Supertech’s emerald courtyard for violation of the mandatory minimum distance between the two buildings.

On May 17, the Supreme Court extended the demolition date to August 21, with a cushion period ending on August 28. Edifice Engineering, a Mumbai-based company, is supervising the demolition process.

“The process is almost 95% complete. The buildings are ready for the demolition process. What remains is the implementation of the surrounding security measures, which includes placing containers in the basement of Emerald Court and filling the basement with debris, and the protection of gas pipelines,” said said a source.
